Metro South Health’s Logan Hospital Palliative Care Unit launches PatientVR

Metro South Health’s Logan Hospital Palliative Care Unit has recently adopted PatientVR, an innovative program designed to enhance end-of-life care through virtual reality. This technology offers patients comfort, engagement, and therapeutic support by creating immersive experiences during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Nurse Unit Manager Gillian Myles highlighted the growing momentum behind the use of digital tools, including virtual reality (VR), in patient care and end-of-life support.
